American Pinball Welcomes Rob Rath and Nick Neitzel to Growing Product Team

Industry veterans and innovators join American Pinball to help shape the company’s next generation of games.
American Pinball is excited to announce that Rob Rath (pictured: fourth from left) and Nick Neitzel (pictured: fifth from left) have joined the company as Product Director and Product Designer, respectively. The additions further strengthen American Pinball’s creative and product development teams as the company continues investing in new talent, innovative products, and an ambitious roadmap of upcoming titles.
Working alongside Creative Director Melvin Brouwer-Williams, Rath and Neitzel will help bring a slate of both original games and remakes to life, combining their extensive experience in design, engineering, storytelling, and player engagement.
Rob Rath Named Product Director
As Product Director, Rob Rath will oversee the planning, budgeting, marketing, and go-to-market strategy for many of American Pinball’s upcoming releases. He will also assist with game story development and rules design, helping create memorable experiences that resonate with players and collectors alike.
Rob is known throughout the pinball community as the co-founder and General Manager of The Electric Playground (TEP), an award-winning company recognized for creating premium toppers and immersive accessories that enhance the pinball experience.
Nick Neitzel Joins as Product Designer
Nick Neitzel joins American Pinball as Product Designer and is already contributing to an upcoming game release, with many more projects to follow.
Nick first gained recognition within the pinball community through his award-winning homebrew machine, Tony Hawk’s Pro Pinball, which captured the attention of players and industry veterans alike for its creativity and execution. Beyond pinball, Nick brings experience working on electrical systems in both the military and aviation industries, giving him a unique engineering perspective that will help drive innovation across American Pinball’s future products.
